VPR-20
VPR-20 consists of a wear-resistant polyamide shell with a hydrophilic membrane. The secret of the membrane is its molecular structure, which pulls sweat in, then pushed fluently to the outside through higher pressures and temperatures inside the clothing. This is a natural effect. VPR-20 is a “smart-membrane”: increased activity (heat inside the jacket) makes the molecules move faster, thus increasing breathability. VPR-20 is highly waterproof as the membrane has no holes to let water through.

VPR-10
VPR-10 is a unique material. Combining the advantages of micro-porous and hydrophilic coatings. Most manufacturers use a dry coating process, using hot air. This process creates the micro-pores required for breathability. However, breathability and waterproofness is still limited. For VPR-10, we use a wet coating, then immerse the fabric in water, creating micro-pores while retaining hydropholic properties. This results in a much higher breathability and waterproofness. In addition, the process gives VPR-10 a much softer feel which increases wearing comfort.

VPR-15

DLX
DLX provides maximum comfort. Firstly, this fabric exhibits high resistance to water pressure to protect you against any adverse water conditions. The smart non-porous membrane stands for improved breathability, as it is capable of effectively controlling moisture permeability depending on the microclimate temperature inside the jacket. DLX features abrasion-resistant outer shell material. Our breathable waterproof products have taped seams to make them truly waterproof.

DLX Lite
DLX Lite is a lightweight version of DLX. This material is 30% lighter in weight and ideal for use in warmer climates.

DSX Lite
We developed a new material which fulfils all requirements to keep children warm and dry during sailing. For this product we used the much appreciated Breathable DSX Lite outer shell material in combination with a breathable lining.

3L4WS
Water transfers heat much faster than air. To stay warm, you must stay dry, and wear clothing that transports body moisture away from your skin. A 3-layer clothing system contains a base layer specially designed to quickly wick moisture away from the skin toward the middle clothing layer. The middle layer is the main insulation layer. Imhoff’s new 3L4WS material was developed specifically for mid-layer purposes. The outer shell stretches in 4 directions and its smooth surface reduces friction between the layers for excellent freedom of movement. On the inside this 3-layer material features comfortable non-pilling microfleece, removing moisture to the outer layer and providing thermal insulation. A breathable membrane connects the two layers.
